The Friends of the Blue Hills has joined up with REI’s #OptOutside campaign to encourage people to enjoy the outdoors during the week of Thanksgiving. We are grateful to the hundreds of volunteers who helped care for the park this year and hope you will join us!
UPDATED EVENT: Join us on Monday, November 22nd to enjoy the outdoors… and help maintain trails! At this event, you will help with maintaining the trails and/or picking up trash. Help us help the park… you’ll be improving habitat and helping to make sure visitors can enjoy the reservation.
Please wear long pants and sturdy shoes, such as hiking boots or sneakers. If you have a favorite pair of gardening gloves, you can bring them. We will provide gloves and any tools that you need. No prior knowledge necessary. Please sign up here.
