Trail Maintenance

Saturday, Dec 3rd,  9:00 am – 1:00 pm

Join the Friends of the Blue Hills to help clear the trails!  We will show you how to dig the dirt and move rocks to keep the water off the trails.  You could also cut branches that block the paths.  No experience necessary.  Events run about four hours, followed by a hearty lunch.  Wear sturdy boots, long pants and work gloves.  We suggest you bring at least one quart of water.  You may also want to consider bringing sunscreen and bug spray.  Meet us at 9 am at the Houghton’s Pond main parking lot on Hillside Street in Milton.  Questions?  Email trailwork@FriendsoftheBlueHills.org.

We would love to work with your youth or corporate group. Please contact us at trailwork@FriendsoftheBlueHills.org.

Do I just show up at Houghton’s Pond parking lot?

    Thanks,
