Trail Maintenance with FBH

reverse grade small group

Saturday, July 12, 9 am – 1 pm.

Join the Friends of the Blue Hill Trail Crew in working on the trails — and forests!  Help us clear brush, clean ditches, culverts, and reinforce water erosion prevention features. You may also chose to help remove the invasive mile a minute weed from the wetlands in Fowl Meadow.  For all work projects, expect to hike to the work site.

Wear long pants and gloves. Tools, training, water, snacks, and lunch provided. Meet at the Houghton’s Pond main parking lot. Email trailwork@friendsofthebluehills.org to participate or with questions.

I would like to assist on the scheduled date. In addition, to helping I really want to learn about hiking and caring for the environment
