Farnham-Connolly Park Trail Work Day
Saturday, Sept. 22, from 8:30am – noon
Meet: Farnham & Connolly Memorial Park (AKA Airport Park),  657-697 Neponset St, Canton

Join us to clear brush and pull weeds at the Farnham-Connolly Park on Neponset St in Canton.  Farnham-Connolly Park is a part of the Blue Hills Reservation, extending the special habitat of Fowl Meadow and Ponkapoag.  Volunteers of all skill levels and physical abilities are needed to help with this fun and important project. Join for an hour or the entire time – there is no minimum requirement. Pre-registration is helpful for planning purposes, but last-minute walk-ins are also welcome.

For this event, the Friends of the Blue Hills is partnering with the Canton Walk, Bike & Hike Committee, Neponset River Watershed Association and the Department of Conservation and Recreation.

Time:  8:30am – Coffee & donuts, check-in
Ages: 15 and up
Bring:  water, hat, sunblock, work gloves
Wear:  work clothes (no sandals). You may get very dirty! Long pants and long socks recommended to prevent ticks.
