Green Up the Blue Hills
April 28, 9:00 am – noon
Do you want to help care for the Blue Hills and have a great time? Then join us for Green Up the Blue Hills, our annual stewardship event! People of all ages will help to protect the forests from gypsy moths and teens and adults will help remove the debris from recent storms and protect the trails from erosion to make sure everyone can explore the park.
It won’t be all work and no play, though! You’ll also enjoy complimentary refreshments crafts, music, face-painting, a scavenger hunt and storytelling. Come for one hour or all four!
We’ll provide all the tools and training you’ll need but bring your gardening gloves if you have them. We recommend you also wear close-toed shoes if you plan to do trail maintenance.
If you’re interested in helping out, please RSVP to Greenup@FriendsoftheBlueHills.org.
We look forward to seeing you at Green Up the Blue Hills!
Thank you to our sponsors for their generous support of Green Up!
