2021-10-20Jim BriandWampatuck Path1This is the other half of my report. I do both Sawcut and Wampatuck, but they are in different sections, so I did two reports. My primary purpose in going here was to scout the trail for a work party we will be having next week on the 27th. That will be focused on clearing out drainage ditches and removing some large obstacles. Today I cleaned trash, trimmed brush and pulled movable obstacles out of the trail. Overall the trail looks good.

All references are from junction 3171. We also removed four major obstacles that had fallen on the trail in recent storms with a team of people using hand saws. We also removed trash including two tires that had been discarded in the woods.
