Fruit Center Marketplace and Friends of the Blue Hills Team Up to Celebrate Earth Day
In celebration of Earth Day, the Fruit Center Marketplace will donate $2 for every customer who uses a reusable grocery bag in the store on Saturday, April 22. All proceeds of the promotion will go to the Friends of the Blue Hills to help maintain 125 miles of trails in the Blue Hills Reservation.
To qualify for the $2 donation to the Friends of the Blue Hills, customers can either purchase a reusable bag in the store (prices range from $3 to $5.99) or bring their own bag from home.
