2020-03-28Bob VogelFowl Meadow Path1Work on side trail to 6006. Cut back brush. Cut a few small logs across trail. At least one bigger tree down, but a step over, so not bad. This trail could always use more brushing. 🙂 But I got briars cut back and trimmed lots of stuff to 'wide enough to get through'. Better than it was.
2020-08-06Bob VogelIndian Path0This trail is VERY overgrown. I met someone who had just hiked it, and her legs were bleeding quite a bit from the briars growing across the trail. (She was not a happy camper.)
2020-08-23Bob FlaggCosmos Path1.5Brushed trail of overhanging branches and small trees encroaching on trail from 6900 to 6670.Very large tree at 6650 that will require a chainsaw to remove. It is completely blocking trail; it is close by the road for easy access.
2020-08-23Bob FlaggK Path1.5Brushed trail of overhanging branches and small trees. Removed green briar where possible.

2020-09-11Ruth BigioBurma Road10Start at parking lot at intersection of Brush Hill Road and Neponset Valley Parkway. Work along Burma Road Trail for about 1/2 mile. Brushing grass and shrubs along trail. Trail at times wide, at times very dense and overgrown. Some poison ivy. No other hazards.Martina and Delia Linfield, Jean Beebe, Bob MurphyBurma Road is a long trail, sections very overgrown. We are allowed to brush up to a gravel ditch across the trail. There is a protected plant growing along the trail, DCR doesn't allow us to brush in that area. Judy Lehrer has details.
