| 2023-07-18 | James Briand | Wampatuck Path | 14 | We worked in three primary sections of Wampatuck Trail, one on a hill near 3157, one hill near 3171 and another section in between. Near 3157 the drainage ditch had become quite clogged and the water bar and adjacent channel were filled in with silt. The team removed all leaves, deepened the drainage ditch channel and dug out water bar. In the mid portion of the trail, recent heavy rains had led to a spring effect of water bubbling out of the ground. The channels were clogged so the water spread over the path increasing erosion. The team dug out and deepened the channel and a backed up pool then flowed into the new channel and away from the path.
