Used loppers to remove overhangs. | Pete Tierney | The trunk of a medium-sized tree (approx 2ft diameter) has fallen across the wooden plank-walk just before the firepit path intersects with the skyline path. This is the plank-walk that was installed a couple of years ago as an eagle scout project. The trunk needs to be cut and removed from the walkway. The weight of the trunk has unfortunately broken one of the planks and that plank needs to be replaced. | The wooden plan-walk stops approximately 100 feet from a second stretch of lowlands that floods during rain. A drainage ditch could easily be dug that would drain this area into the pond 50 feet to the East. The ditch needs to traverse only about10 feet of flat ground before the land inclines down to the pond. |

Where the Minichiello path intersects with the green dot pipeline at 4205 there is about a 10-foot climb up an approximate 20-degree slope of scree. This would benefit from the construction of three or four steps. |
