Hugh Cronin was one of over 300 fourth graders who created colorful and informative posters about the dangers of Lyme disease. The Friends of the Blue Hills teamed up with Milton Town Nurse Caroline Kinsella and Milton Fourth Grade Future Problem Solvers at the end of the school year to help increase awareness of Lyme disease and how to prevent it over the summer. Students shared what they learned by creating posters to encourage people to enjoy nature, but to be sure to check for ticks after being outside. The theme of the presentation was “Go Out and Play; Check Every Day!” The posters can be seen around Milton at various locations, including Town Hall and Cunningham Park.
