The Friends of the Blue Hills invites new members for a special New Member Walk at Ponkapoag Pond for a guided tour of the bog and pond with University of Massachusetts Professor and Chair of the Biology Department, Rick Kesseli.
Enjoy a light refreshments, meet the Friends of the Blue Hills Board and staff as well as other new members like you who love the Blue Hills!
For this exclusive event, you will drive through the gate at the south end of Blue Hill River Road at Exit 3 in Milton at marker 5320. You’ll take a right at marker 5241 and drive down Ponkapoag Trail until you arrive at the bog at marker 5176.
