Join us for our month-long celebration of the 125-Mile Club, your chance to challenge yourself to visit every mile of trails in the Blue Hills! Learn more and sign up for Challenge here. You don’t need to already be part of the 125-Mile Club to sign up for this event.
Whether you’re recording your hike for the Challenge, or just taking a stroll, you can’t help but notice the many trees that line the trails.
Have you ever wondered what makes a tree distinct from the others in the forest? Â Â Friends of the Blue Hills and the Mary May Binney Wakefield Arboretum team up to lead a three-mile hike to explore what makes many species of trees unique but also part of an interconnected ecosystem that is the amazing Blue Hills. Please join us for this family friendly event to be followed by soup and hot cocoa at the Mary May Binney Wakefield Arboretum.
Meet: Trailside Museum, 1904 Canton Ave, Milton, north parking lot, by the restrooms. Note there are two parking lots at the Trailside Museum. We will meet at the one that is closer to Canton Ave.
125-Mile Club Month
Hi,
Is the “Meet the Blue Hills Trees!“ event on May 20th dog friendly, or should I keep my dog home if I decide to go?
Thanks!
Good question. We will double check!
Dogs on a leash are welcome. Thanks for asking. We look forward to seeing both of you!
