Music Helps Remove the Weeds

Musicians Dale Freeman and Chris Forkey helped spirits sour at the Friends of the Blue Hills’ Green Up the Blue Hills at Ponkapoag Pond last Sunday.  Almost 60 people of all ages donned gloves and pulled the invasive weed garlic mustard while listening to music.  Younger participants also made creative masks, had their faces painted and all enjoyed the beauty of the Blue Hills.
