I don’t live in Canton or Milton but I know that there are numerous species of butterflies in Fowl Meadow worthy of protecting for the general interest of visitors of all ages.
Elise, You’re so right! If you’d like to help protect the wetlands, it would be great if you contacted your state legislators and asked them to ask the chairs of the Environment Committee to give a favorable report to bills related to this issue. You’ll find more information here (And if you’re in the district of one of the chairs – Rep Gobi or Sen Pacheco – please let us know!)
Thanks so much for caring about the Blue Hills!
