According to the Milton Times, the director of “Crooked Arrows” thought the Blue Hills was the perfect setting to film a sacred mountain. We agree, it’s definitely ‘a gift.’
Director Steve Rash – whose other work includes “The Buddy Holly Story” and the “Bring It On” movie series – was thrilled with the Blue Hills location, as the movie script called for the players to train by climbing up a sacred mountain. Much of the footage was shot at night, and involved a campfire scene.
“This was a gift. When I saw this area, I thought it matched the script perfectly,” Rash said between takes.
