Join our Board!

If you want to…

  • Protect the park
  • Make a difference in your community
  • Preserve the Blue Hills for future generations

Then, you’d make a perfect board member!

The park doesn’t take care of itself.

The Blue Hills need the help of the people who love it.

As a Board member, you’ll help guide the work of our community of volunteers while bringing your own gifts and resources to the effort.

What would you do as a board member?

Board members become ambassadors of the Blue Hills who:

  • Lead – committees, initiatives, networking
  • Volunteer – at events in and around the park
  • Discuss, strategize, prioritize – at monthly meetings
  • Support – monthly donation encouraged

Important considerations…

To best represent the many people who visit and love the park, we are looking for all kinds of diversity: age, identity, residency; interests (hiking, running, fishing, biking, swimming, picnicking, skiing, photography, etc.).

We are also looking for a wide array of skills and professional experience: law, land use planning, ecology, biology, advocacy, website design, fundraising, social media, marketing, finance, accounting, etc.).

Will you be our next Friends of the Blue Hills Board member?

To learn more about what it means to serve on the Board of Friends of the Blue Hills, please email Board Chair Matt Panucci (matt@friendsofthebluehills.org) to see if it’s something that’s the right fit for you at this time.  We’d love to learn more about you!

Let’s be Friends.  We’d love to hear from you!
