Let’s visit Hawk Hill together! Here are the details on this 1-1.5 mile (~60 min) hike:

• Park at the “P” on the map shown here just north of I-93 on Route 28 (link to exact location on Google Maps).
• We’ll follow the trail highlighted in red, making a counterclockwise loop (except for the brief overlap out-and-back just south of Hawk Hill summit).
• For 10 minutes (or as long as people want) on the way back to our parking spot, we’ll stop at the open overlook where the three blue lines are on the map.
• There is one fairly steep climb (~1/8 mile long in the first section) and one moderately steep climb (~1/4 mile long coming up the back of Hawk Hill)

Don’t forget to wear boots, watch the weather for guidance on layering, bring water and your trekking poles (and maybe even microspikes).
