I love it when the road is closed…so much quieter. No loud motorcycles, or speeding cars. I wonder how many accidents there are on that road? Closing it down makes the park safer and more enjoyable…families can bring strollers, bicyclists are safer. Perhaps there is a solution where it is open for commuters during the week, but closed on the weekends?
Good suggestion! We’ll check with DCR about it.
Can’t we compromise: open during the week and closed on weekends? I live quite close. I love it closed. Find a compromise, please!
Great idea. We will discuss it with DCR.
