Trail Maintenance at Farnham Connolly
Green Up the Blue Hills!
June 22, 9:00 am – 11:30 am
657-697 Neponset St, Canton

Join the Friends of the Blue Hills to maintain a part of the park you may not associate with the Blue Hills… Farnham-Connolly Park in Canton!  This park is filled with wetlands and wildlife, and while the land is not contiguous to the rest of the Blue Hills, it falls within the Fowl Meadow and Ponkapoag Bog Area of Critical Environmental Concern… so the ecosystems are connected, even if our human-made borders are not!

We’ll meet at 9 am (at the parking lot at 657-697 Neponset St, Canton).  We’ll supply loppers (big clippers) and we’ll trim the branches that are growing into the trails and blocking the paths.  Please wear long pants, sneakers or hiking boots, and bring at least a pint of water.  You may also want to bring bug spray and sunscreen.

Please click here to sign the electronic waiver beforehand to make check-in easier for you.
