During the current health crisis, natural spaces are one of the few places people can go for exercise, fresh air, and peace. People head to the Blue Hills all year long, but this season, many more visitors are looking to the Blue Hills for recreation and solace.
When you visit the Blue Hills, remember to follow government and health organizations’ directives to observe social distancing.

Thank you for staying open. We all need access to natural beauty especially during this difficult time. Let’s work together (6 feet apart) so we can continue to enjoy this beautiful park!
Agreed. The park offers so much… and it’s important to keep a safe distance from each other.
Thanks for your comment!
This place has been packed. I was out there Saturday and Sunday on the Skyline trail. Many people not stepping to the side of the trail to pass, bumping into us (despite us moving to the side, and where safe, off the trail). It pains me to say this, but it should probably be closed to aid with distancing…
Great perspective. And certainly worth not going if the park is too busy at the time when you visit.
