Thanks to our members and partners… the Invasive Species Bill is moving out of Committee!

The Joint Committee on Environment, Natural Resources, and Agriculture passed the Invasive Species bill out of committee.

Thank you to everyone who responded to the action alert!  Your efforts paid off!

The invasive species bill (H.999 sponsored by Representative Rogers, S.563 sponsored by Senator Jehlen) would coordinate resources, guidance, and funding for invasive species. The bill would help protect endangered and other natives species… in the Blue Hills… and statewide.

A big thank you to the bills’ legislative sponsors and their staff, and our partners at the Mass Rivers Alliance.

Please take a minute to check below to see if your legislator is a member of the Natural Resources Committee… and if they are, please thank them for their support!
