The wait is over! Eliot Tower renovations are complete, and visitors are again able to visit this well-loved, historic structure near the top of Great Blue Hill.
Over the course of the past year or so, the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) invested $1 million in this 85-year-old landmark. The repairs and improvements included significant stonework and signage, as well as better handrails and a ramp to improve accessibility for all.
We encourage you to take your favorite trail up to the tower to take a look and enjoy the views again from this local landmark. So many routes will take you right to the tower. Here’s a quick look at the trail map to show you some options.
