Open House Session
Monday February 6th, 2023 @ 6pm – 7:30pm
Saint Pius X Parish
101 Wolcott Road, Milton, MA 02186
At this open house session, the DCR team for the Neponset to Blue Hills Feasibility Study project will provide opportunities for feedback on the proposed feasibility study. The purpose of this meeting is to continue gathering input from the community after the initial public listening sessions hosted virtually, and to provide information on the preliminary conclusions about preferred options for multimodal connections in this area. Please visit the prior event pages for this project to access the presentations and recordings: November 14th meeting & September 20th meeting.
The public is welcome to come at their own convenience during the allotted open house session time. Informational material will be provided and the project team will be present to answer questions and address concerns. After the open house session, additional comments can be provided by emailing Daniel.cushing@mass.gov.
If you have agency-related questions or concerns or would like to be added to an email list to receive DCR general or project-specific announcements, please email Mass.Parks@mass.gov or call 617-626-4973.

I will make every effort to attend….tyvm
Great!
I think expanding access is a great idea. Blue hills is such a fantastic asset to our community. unfortunately I will not be able to make it in person today.
The ability to bike from the Neponset bike trail to the Blue Hills is a fabulous initiative and one I wholeheartedly support. I frequently walk the Neponset trail now – it’s a treasure – and would certainly welcome the chance to ride to the Blue Hills.
Hello,
I think this is a great initiative. I think it is important to improve car-free access to public resources, such as the Blue Hills.
I don’t get down to the Blue Hills as much as I would like; but when i go, I try to bike from my home in Brookline.
Thank you for your work on this.

Thanks so much for letting us know!
Hi,
For years there has been a non maintained trail along the Neponset River
I think it’s called Fishermans Trail.
This trail could be included as a really cool pathway just needs a couple of foot bridges over some of the culverts.
It’s in pretty good shape for a low maintenance area.
Interesting idea!
Would love to attend to add my Two Cents. Unfortunately I’m out-of-town.
And I love Will Mann’s photo! It belongs on the cover of the next calendar.
Sorry you can’t make the open house. And glad you like Will Mann’s photos. It’s definitely one of our favorites!
