
Join us for a fun and educational Frog Hike, where we’ll explore local wetlands, ponds, and streams in search of frogs, tadpoles, and other fascinating amphibians! Led by a Caitie, a nature enthusiast with a passion for all things amphibian! This easy-paced hike is perfect for families, nature lovers, and curious explorers of all ages.
Learn how to identify different frog species by their calls with the help from Caitie and various apps, discover the importance of wetlands, and see firsthand how frogs play a vital role in our ecosystem. We’ll also cover how to observe wildlife responsibly and what makes amphibians such amazing creatures.

This hike will be meeting at the Donovan School, 123 Reed St, Randolph, MA 02368, at 9:00am Sharp
The Blue Hills are rich with natural resources. Starting at the Donovan School upper parking lot (left of the school) watch your feet as we pass through an area used often by local horseback riders. We’ll cross the horse bridge to explore the East side of Ponkapoag and take a look at some of the natural resources along the way.

- Inclement weather will cancel.
- Bring at least 1 liter of water and a snack.

Pace and Duration: This 3-4 mile hike is designed to be steady patient hiking pace with stopping allowed. Expect to spend about 2 hours exploring the trails, with plenty of time to appreciate the scenery.

LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY:Â MODERATE
Evangeline is a Reiki Practitioner, yoga instructor, and community builder. She guides monthly hikes in the Blue Hills, offers Reiki healing sessions, and hosts workshops and retreats.
Evangeline’s hikes will be offered once a month on select days at 7:00am in The Blue Hills Reservation. Hikes typically last 1.5hrs, the trails are always different, & will vary in intensity. They are ALWAYS doable no matter your fitness level!
