Blue Hills Bird Walk with Brookline Bird Club

Notice: There are two events taking place in the Blue Hills with the Brookline Bird Club. There are two start times at two different locations.

The Brookline Bird Club (BBC) is the largest, and one of the oldest and most active of the bird clubs in the US. Membership is open to all who are interested in birds and nature.

FBH joint walk with Brookline Bird Club. Hike one mile to witness the spring mating flight of the American Woodcock. Bring binoculars if you have one. Meet at Paul’s Bridge parking lot on Neponset Valley Parkway.

We are usually successful in seeing the Woodcock’s mating flight, and sometimes its mating display. We will hike 1 mile on a flat trail that may be wet.
