Get some fresh air and exercise… and give back to an amazing park that serves tens of thousands of visitors each year. Depending on current needs, you will help maintain the trails or remove invasive weeds that threaten the forest. Please wear sturdy shoes (no sandals) and long pants. If you have a favorite pair of gardening gloves, please bring them. Please bring at least a liter of water as well. We will provide all the tools and training you’ll need. No experience necessary. When you sign up, we’ll let you know the start location at least a day in advance.
I can do invasive weed pulling, but trail maintenance is probably beyond my strength (based on one previous event building a berm.). If/when you decide which task is scheduled for 7/29, I will sign up if it is weed pulling.
Thanks for your note! I will let the leader know. I believe she is planning some light trail maintenance, meaning cutting brush that is growing into the trail. It’s not the same level of effort that is needed for events that Bob leads.
We’ll be in touch!
