Be a part of the “poo-lution” solution and join us in developing a plan to help reduce dog waste and bio-pollution on the trails!
Dog waste – in and out of a bag – is more than just a smelly annoyance. Dog waste in the park is an environmental pollutant that contaminates our water supply and is hazardous to wildlife and humans.
You’re invited to join our new Poo-lution Solution team! If you’re interested in learning how to clean up the park… without even having to pick up trash… you can learn how to use a smart phone app developed by Earthwise Aware to record your observations of poop bags in the Blue Hills.
We will teach you all that you need to know… you do not need any prior experience or knowledge. Join us for this online training to learn how to be involved. After the training session, you will only need to commit to walking 1/4 mile on two trails at least twice a month. The first Zoom training is on Thursday, December 16th, 2021 at 5:30pm. Don’t worry if you aren’t able to attend this one, there will be additional trainings in the future!
