Join the Friends of the Blue Hills to care for the trails and forests. Depending on the date that you sign up for here, you will be maintaining the trails, removing invasives or picking up trash. All activities that help the park… you’ll be improving habitat and helping to make sure visitors can enjoy the park.
Wear sturdy boots or shoes and long pants. Bring work gloves of if you have them and at least one quart of water. You may also want to consider bringing sunscreen and bug spray.
You need to sign an electronic waiver on the website. (You just need to sign up once for the year.)
And then, sign up for an event here. Note that the start and end time may vary, depending on the event you sign up for.
