Get some fresh air and exercise… and give back to an amazing park that serves tens of thousands of visitors each year. You will be helping to care for the trails by improving erosion structures, raking and digging out the ditches next to trails or cutting brush. Your work will keep the trails from eroding and make sure people can explore the park. Please wear sturdy shoes (no sandals) and long pants. If you have a favorite pair of gardening gloves, please bring them. Please bring at least a liter of water as well. We will provide all the tools and training you’ll need. No experience necessary. Thanks to Jim Briand for leading this event.
You will be meeting at the 3171 trailhead immediately adjacent to Chickatawbut Rd. and opposite Wampatuck Rd. There are parking spaces along Chickatawbut Rd.
Good afternoon,
My daughter and I signed up for: Tuesday, July 18, 9am – 11am Trail Maintenance with Jim. My registration went through and then my daughter signed up, but when she finished it said she was on the waiting list. Is it possible for her to attend with me or is there only one spot for one of us?
Also, what is the town/address where the trail maintenance will take place?
Thank you,
Eric
Eric, Thanks so much for letting us know. We’ll check with the leader and get back to you.
