Who better to educate us on the intricacies of a quintessential New England storm than someone who watches and measures the weather for a living?
On February 3, we learned about nor’easters firsthand from Blue Hill Observatory weather observer and atmospheric science grad student, Amanda Joly. She shared a wealth of knowledge about nor’easters and their impact in the Blue Hills area. She also showed us some special equipment used at the observatory and described how each is invaluable for measuring storm impact.
